The libraries are on the left and the choices are on the right. This means you will only see components footprints that has a correct number. Choose ‘filter by in count’ and ‘filter by library’. here you need to find the footprint you want for each component. Sometimes, it takes a bit of time for the library to load, so be patient. Now we have completed the schematics processed & now we have to design a layout on the board so go to ‘tools’ and click on ‘assign component footprint’. When we add more components of the same type, they get numbered accordingly. Now you run see that each component gets a number. Then, click on annotate, and then click ‘yes’ on the warning. To do this, click on ‘tools’, and then, ‘Annotate schematic’. Once we made the schematics, the next step is to annotate, which means to number the components. Select the ‘ place, wire’ from the tool bar and the connect the components. Now, let us add a LED, and then a battery now, lets connect the components using the wire. You can change its value by pressing ‘V’. To place a component, select a component from the toolbar on the right and then click anywhere on your schematics. In the schematics window, we can zoom in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel. The first thing we should do when we create a project, is to create a schematics.
